The
Community Partnership Family Resource Center (CPFRC) is a 501 (C) (3)
non-profit organization serving Teller County families since 1992. Our
vision for the community is that "all Teller County families be self
reliant and fully functional, and making positive contributions to our
community". CPFRC is governed by a nine member Board of Trustees
that has adopted the following mission for the organization. Mission:
Within Teller County, strengthen family structures by (1) providing
innovative high quality CPFRC core services, (2) collaborating with and
referring clients to services outside CPFRC’s core services and (3)
providing fiscal services to community initiatives that strategically
further our vision.
Core services offered under the CPFRC umbrella include Adult
Basic Education/GED, Bright Beginnings/Warm
Welcome, The Clothes Closet,
Families Against Drugs (FAD), Parenting
Classes, Infant/toddler
Playgroups, Young
Mothers Empowerment (Y-ME) and the Woodland
Park Middle School After School Program.
CPFRC
is funded and operates solely in cooperation with its partners that
provide grants, gifts, in kind donations and fund raisers and other
cooperative arrangements.
